LaShawn S. Givens was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She is a devoted servant of God, called into full-time prophetic ministry—an assignment she became aware of in her adult years. Her journey of faith has been marked by obedience, perseverance, and unwavering trust in God’s direction.

After relocating to Kentucky with her family and fiancé, LaShawn later married her husband, Nathaniel Johnson, at Mt. Sinai AOH House of Hope. Although the marriage ended two years later, she continued to walk faithfully in her purpose, allowing God to refine and strengthen her through every season.

In December 2017, LaShawn was divinely instructed to establish her own ministry. In obedience, she stepped out in faith, even resigning from her employment for one year to pursue God’s calling—despite having no prior experience in ministry leadership. On September 9, 2018, Empowered By God Ministry International was officially launched at Beverly Hills Banquet Hall, surrounded by family and ministry partners who supported her new beginning.

Under the spiritual covering of Prophetess Michelle Joseph, LaShawn received recognition and right-hand fellowship. She was publicly set apart and ordained to the work of gospel ministry through Pillars Prophetic International Ministries, Inc., to serve as a Minister and Prophetess. She accepted this calling with humility, meekness, and a heart fully surrendered to God.

Through mentoring and counseling women in her “Fight with Fire Marriage Group,” LaShawn discerned her divine gifting to counsel, mentor, advise, and prophetically advocate for the brokenhearted and wounded. Recognizing the importance of professional development, she completed formal training and became a certified Life Coach.

In March 2019, she established her first business, Bread of Life, Inc., where she serves as CEO and Founder. Her work has been featured on National Broadcasting FM Radio, reaching thousands. What distinguishes her services is her unique ability to coach, counsel, and advise through prophetic insight and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Currently, LaShawn is a Prophetic Life Coach, Tax Professional Manager, Owner of Ecommerce Online Store Kingdom Fashion & Coaching service at kingdomfashioncoachingservices.com. She continues to advance the Kingdom of God with boldness, integrity, and compassion—sharing the Gospel across nations and communities through the love of Christ breaking the sting of religion with kingdom principles
